Intec was founded in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, in 1990, by a group of technicians specialized in the development of special rubber products utilized mainly in the automotive, aerospace, oil, and metal-mechanical industries.
In 1992, Intec developed and manufactured the first sensors for vehicular detection and classification for the toll industry with superior capabilities to those in the market at the time. Since then, Intec has focused on control systems.
The introduction of specialized technicians in the area, and the investment in new technologies, increased our capacity to develop new products and our swiftness to respond to the necessities of service and technical support required by our customers.
In 1993, Intec was chosen as distributor for Seal Jet Argentina, business representative for the Austrian Economos, specialized in the production of packaging, hydraulic and pneumatic seals under a unique and novel system of production by elastomer mechanization with CNC equipment.
In 1994, Intec consolidates as the principal supplier of sensors for vehicular detection and classification in Argentina.
In 1997, Intec begins the exportation of its products to Brazil, currently INTEC products are being used by companies in Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Spain, France and Switzerland.
In 2000, Intec inaugurated its new industrial plant and administrative offices at the southeast of Cordoba, Argentina.
In 2001, the production of Intec products is certified by QMS under ISO 9001 standards.
